The location needs to be suitable for a broken rock-star to live in, so i was thinking:
-Wooden Flooring
-A worn rug
I need to concentrate on what is going to be on the floor and low level in the room because the first shot is going to be of the person laying on the floor. It needs to look like the house has wealth but is not really looked after; it's a bit dirty.
The second half of the opening sequence is when it goes back a year in his life of the man. So the location needs to be different, it needs to be clean and tidy, because this is the at the point in the film where he actually cares about life and his music.
